2023 Here we GO!

Hope all our riders are doing well and ready to go. The supercross season is off and running. Lots of story lines to follow. Its fun to have a race to look forward to each Saturday night. Not sure that the beer and pizza helps the training diet, but the first race isn’t until June.

June 23 Millville / Spring Creek So, we are going to try a few new things this year. First off, we are going to run a Friday race at Millville. Yes Friday. This is a Millville Super Series weekend. They generally have big turnouts. We are going to try to run a Thursday afternoon practice, some practice on Friday morning and then race. Saturday is an all day practice. They divide up the classes for safety, but keep things moving. Their mini track also runs practice all day so bring the grand kids. Millville offers a great facility, plenty of flat parking and hills. The track will be running their Super Series race on Sunday. They offer all our MXVETS classes. 25+ through 70+. Come for the Vet race…stay for the weekend.

We are presenting Taco Thursday. All riders who sign up for Thursday practice will get a complimentary ticket to the Taco dinner at the sign up tower. If you didn’t sign up for practice it will set you back a ten spot. We promise that John Martin isn’t going to be allowed to cook.

July 22 Next up is Sunset Ridge. They are moving the date to avoid conflicts with the Millville national weekend. Sunset is a staple in the series and always fun to ride at the Field of Dreams.

August 19 Red BuDDDDD. This is traditionally the biggest race of the year. Love this place…but hoping they don’t dig it quite so deep this time. I had to dog paddle thru some of the corners.

September 9 DOB. This will be the 31st annual. Last year was a great time. Nice turnout. Always a fun place to ride.

September 23 Byron. Byron is back. They were one of the original tracks, and a classic. The MotorSport Park race will be run in conjunction with a year end Vintage race. Our race will be Saturday with a few vintage classes sprinkled in, and the main Vintage race will be Sunday. A Vintage Hall of Fame dinner/celebration with Gary Bailey will be Saturday night. All are welcome.

We will post additional information on the events as we get a bit closer.

BTW, the year end awards were super cool. Don Hachmeister arranged to have Decal Works create bike graphics with the year end places. Thank you Don!!!
