October 1/2 RacerX Senior Championship Round 4
Motosports Park..................................... VET OPEN
One of the oldest Amatuer racetracks in the United States, Motosports Park has been holding organized amateur motocross races since 1968. As could be expected, over the years the park has under gone many improvements that include the areas first backward falling starting gate and underground watering system, a bath house with showers and flush toliets, a starting light system. Motosports Park was also the first area racetrack to use computerized scoring and now offers the latest magnetic card readers to speed up and automate the registration process. Like 2009, 2010 awards will be given away at this final round.

A new venue.....A popular District 17 Senior freindly race track with loose sandy soil run by Bob and Jan Pistol. Bob has helped out at RedBud for the National for the past several years and has learned much about racetrack prep and maintenance from Tim Richie. This should kick off a great 2010

Enough said. Steeped in motocross history dating back to the AMA Pro TransUSA and InterAM Series, RedBud is probably the hardest, most technical event of the series. The "A" guys fly and the "B" guys just try to survive. The sandy surface changes continuously throughout the day. To do well, latch on to a local and watch his lines as the racetrack changes. Just like Spring Creek, RedBud gives you a new found respect for the Pros.
On Sunday August 22, RedBud will host an open practice with proceeds going to several MX Charities, so everyone is invited to stick around for the whole weekend.

Aztalan............................... Dirty Old Blasters 18
The only club run event in the series and you won't find a harder working, more dedicated group of volunteers. The Aztalan Cycle club started holding races early in the 70's and their events are some of the highest attended in District 16, drawing upwards of 600+ entries on their event Sundays.
